This Cookie Policy explains how Jovial Software, LLC (doing business as Smart Pricing Table) ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at https://www.smartpricingtable.com and the Smart Pricing Table application at https://web.smartpricingtable.com. It describes the types of cookies we use and the services that set them. We do not publish a list of every individual cookie name.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, and local storage. First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by other companies that provide features on our site (for example analytics, advertising, or an embedded scheduler).

How we use cookies

Some cookies are needed for the site or application to work. Others help us understand traffic, run experiments, or measure ads. Below are the categories we actually use today.

Necessary

These cookies are required to provide the service. They keep you signed in, let someone view or sign a proposal, and help with security (including bot checks such as Cloudflare Turnstile on some forms). On the marketing website we also store your cookie choice and a country code so we know whether to show the cookie bar. The application will not work correctly without the sign-in and viewing cookies.

Analytics and site improvement

On the marketing website we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site. Clarity may record session activity such as clicks and scrolling. We do not use Clarity on the application.

We also set our own cookies to remember how you arrived (for example a campaign or ad source), to assign A/B test variants, and for basic site behavior such as whether you have already seen a popup.

Advertising

On the marketing website we use Google Ads, the Facebook Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure ad performance and understand which ads lead to a demo or other conversion. If you book a demo after arriving from an ad, we may send a conversion event to the relevant platform, which can include hashed contact details. We do not use these advertising tools inside the application.

Embedded third-party features

Some pages load tools from other companies. Those companies may set their own cookies when the feature runs:

• Calendly — demo and strategy-call scheduling. We may pass campaign or attribution information into Calendly so we know how a booking originated.
• Stripe — payment checkout.
• Loom — help videos in the application.

If a page includes another embedded media player (for example a video host), that provider may also set cookies.

How you can control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in, scheduling, or other features. Most browsers explain how to do this in their help menu (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and others).

For interest-based advertising, you can also visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/, the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada, or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance.

If you are in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or Quebec, we show a cookie bar on this marketing website and do not use analytics or advertising cookies until you accept. Other parts of Canada do not get that bar. You can change a required choice later with Cookie settings in the footer. Necessary cookies still run so the site works. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Campaign information in the page URL (for example utm_source) is not a cookie. If you book a demo while those parameters are still on the page, we may pass them to Calendly so we know how the booking started, even if you rejected marketing cookies.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
